Keep school portals, lunch menus, calendars and other important links together in one convenient place.

Back-to-school season comes with a lot of links.
There may be one website for grades, another for lunch accounts, a separate school calendar and even more pages for sports, classroom updates, transportation or online payments.
Instead of searching for the same pages every time you need them, save them as bookmarks.
What Is a Bookmark?
A bookmark saves a link inside your internet browser so you can quickly return to it later. Microsoft Edge calls them Favorites, but they work in much the same way.
Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all allow you to save websites and organize them into folders.
Create a School Folder
Start by creating a bookmark or favorites folder named School.
You could save links for:
- The school’s main website
- Parent or student portals
- Lunch menus and payment accounts
- School calendars
- Sports and activity schedules
- Classroom websites
- Transportation updates
- Online forms or payment pages
You can also create separate folders for each child or divide the links into categories such as Calendars, Activities and School Accounts.
How to Save a Website
The exact steps will depend on your browser and device, but start by opening the page you want to save.
On a computer, look for a star near the address bar or open your browser’s menu and choose Bookmark or Add to Favorites.
When prompted, choose your new School folder.
Keep Your Bookmarks With You
Many browsers can also make your bookmarks available across your devices. This usually requires using the same browser, signing in with the same account and turning on syncing.
For example, Chrome can save bookmarks to a Google Account, Edge can sync Favorites through a Microsoft account, and Safari can keep bookmarks updated through iCloud.
A few minutes of organization now could save a lot of searching throughout the school year.
