Your email does not need to change when receiving service from LigTel, unless it is with your current internet service provider.

Yes, the router can be relocated, but it is recommended that it be placed in a central location for the best WiFi coverage.

If you need to connect more devices to your local network, you can use a device called a Switch. This device increases the port density of your network, allowing additional devices to be connected via Ethernet.

VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol)

VOIP uses your internet connection to make calls, converting your voice into digital signals. This means you get high-quality calls without the need for traditional phone lines.

Not all LigTel customers are eligible for our VOIP phone services. If you reside within the Ligonier Telephone Company Exchange, VOIP is not available. However, you can still enjoy our traditional phone service!

CALLING FEATURES

Use *69 to automatically redial the last number that called you.

Dial *67 before making a call to prevent your phone number from being displayed to the recipient.

Block incoming calls from anonymous numbers by dialing *77. Dial *87 to allow anonymous calls again.

Activate Do Not Disturb with *78 to stop all incoming calls temporarily. Deactivate it by dialing *79 to resume receiving calls.

Forward calls to another number when your line is busy by dialing *90, followed by the destination number. Disable this feature with *91.

Forward calls to another number when you don’t answer by dialing *92, followed by the destination number. Disable with *93.

Forward all incoming calls to another number by dialing *72, followed by the destination number. Disable this feature with *73.

Call your phone # from a different phone, when greeting starts, press *, then enter pin code

Please note that this webmail interface displays a navigation bar across the top, which allows you to select the module you wish to work within (Mail, Contacts, Calendar, etc). For your convenience, it opens in email mode, with the Mail tab selected. From here you can compose an email by clicking on New Message. If you click on the down arrow next to New Message, it will drop-down a list of options. From here you can choose to jump to other tasks such as Contact (to create a new Contact in the window that appears)

You are looking at your webmail in ‘Conversation View’ and it is the default setting. To display each message individually, simply click the View button (on the top right) and click by message.

  • Click on Preferences (located in the top navigation bar).
  • Select Signatures from the column on the left.
  • Select New Signature.
  • You can change the font or add symbols with the navigation bar.

The briefcase is used for storing documents and pictures.

  • From the main screen, click on Contacts.
  • Look directly below, click New Contact.
  • Complete the appropriate fields.
  • Once you are done, click Save in the upper left.

Preferences is where a lot of the administration functions are located. For example, you could use the Preferences function if you want to import or export your contacts or calendar, set up filters, or create an ‘away’ message.

Zimlets are add-on applications that enhance the functionality of your webmail program.

Tags are a personal classification system for webmail messages, contacts, tasks and appointments. You can tag as many messages as you want, and you can apply multiple tags to the same message and contacts.

If you composed a message but didn’t save it as a draft, it will auto-save and link to your navigation bar. Simply click the title or click the x symbol to delete it.
