The Private Pond Record Fish Website (PPRF)

The Private Pond Record Fish is a site dedicated to recognizing large fish from private ponds equaling or exceeding fish that are presently recognized on the site.  If a fish species has not been entered on the site yet it must be meet a minimum weight for that species. (See below)

In some states fish from private ponds or pellet fed fish in private ponds are not recognized as state records. PPRF attempts to compensate for this and recognize not only the angler that caught the fish but the private pond owner. Any competent fish manager knows that growing exceptional fish is not just a matter of feeding fish. Wise pond management, optimum pond conditions, genetics, and yes, some luck are involved. If it was just a matter of feeding fish to grow record fish, every pond owner that feeds his fish would have record fish. That is just not the case.
