I ended up getting an LED tail light form clear alternatives yesterday(1-09-06) Here is what you get in the kit:
Clear lens, LED board, Connectors, resistors, o rings and heat shrink covers.
I was up late last night installing the light. Pretty simple, plug the board into one bulb socket, take the other socket out and fish the yellow wires thru. Then hook the yellow wires to your turn signal wires with the connectors provided.
Since I have an integrator already with the after market flasher, I didn't have to use the resistors that came with the kit.
The LED board has red and amber LED's so when the turn signal is on, it blinks amber while the other side stays red. Nice little setup
I will get better pictures LED's in operation and get some installation pics. Right now I'm testing it to see if it's bright enough during the day. Supposed to be sunny and 48 on Thursday so I'll do some testing then. Also take some better pictures.
Here are some pictures from my garage last night. I've very impressed how bright it is at night. I'm thinking is should be plenty bright during the day. I'll find out later this week. I will also try to get a picture of the turn signal in activation.
I must say, I do like the clear look when it's parked.
